The Army's Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) program has laudable goals. It seeks to: prevent sexual harassment and assault; and hold accountable those who have committed sexual assault, which has no place in the military, or anywhere. But as John Maher discusses in this American Adversaries radio interview, the SHARP program sets aside constitutional protections, including the presumption of innocence. As John discusses, the SHARP tool can be used as a weapon for those who are motivated to fabricate sexual assault allegations against service members who are actually innocent. In this part of the interview, John talks about Anthony Santucci.
